The Seaflex 1 Tonne Mono Buoyancy Unit (MBU) is a groundbreaking solution that combines the operational versatility of parachute-style Air Lift Bags (ALBs) with the robust, enclosed structure of Inflatable Buoyancy Units (IBUs). Unique in its design, the MBU features a single-point lift capability, enabling it to tolerate load angles and be safely lifted or moored through its central axis—a benefit unmatched by any other enclosed buoyancy system on the market.
- Safe and Strong: Independently tested to exceed a 5:1 safety factor in line with IMCA D-016 guidelines, using a proprietary through-strop system for full axial load transmission.
- User-Friendly Operation: Buoyancy can be varied from the surface for smooth mobilisation and demobilisation, allowing controlled load positioning or adjustments.
- Highly Durable Construction: Manufactured using heavy-duty, UV-stabilised PVC-coated High Tensile Trevira® Polyester with reinforced concentric layers and an integrated stainless steel lifting ring.
- Compact and Lightweight: Weighs just 15 kg and packs down small (0.6m x 0.5m x 0.2m), making it ideal for remote deployment and transport—500 tonnes of capacity fits in a single 20ft container.
- Safe and Ready to Use: Supplied with pressure relief valves, dual inflation/deflation ports with stainless steel Camlock adapters, and full documentation including log book, certificates, and manual.

Returns, refunds or exchanges?
You can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in 'as new' condition.
Items will be refunded in full (less postage) if received within 28 days from the date of despatch.
