The Seaflex 500kg Mono Buoyancy Unit (MBU) brings all the advantages of Seaflex’s innovative MBU design into a smaller, lighter format—ideal for operations requiring precision buoyancy control with minimal handling effort. Unlike any other enclosed buoyancy solution on the market, the 500kg MBU can be lifted, moored, and operated via a single central attachment point, offering load angle tolerance similar to a parachute-type bag with the safety and durability of enclosed construction.
- High Safety Standards: Independently tested and compliant with IMCA D-016 guidelines, with a proven 5:1 minimum safety factor on through-load capacity using a proprietary through-strop system.
- Flexible and Controlled Operation: Allows for controlled inflation and deflation to fine-tune buoyancy during mobilisation and demobilisation phases—perfect for delicate load handling.
- Built for Tough Conditions: Constructed from UV-stabilised, PVC-coated High Tensile Trevira® Polyester with multiple reinforced fabric layers and an integrated stainless steel lifting ring.
- Lightweight and Portable: Weighing approximately 7.5 kg and packing down to a compact size, the 500kg MBU is easy to transport and deploy even in confined or remote environments.
