Designed for military combat swimmers, and developed and manufactured in the U.K. by Northern Diver, our DT4 Thrusters are at the forefront of marine mobility innovation. They have been rigorously researched and developed via the latest technology, with unrivalled construction quality and the latest in technical engineering to achieve enhanced movement performance and reduce fatigue during tasks. The DT4 Thrusters are revolutionising combat swimming, reconnaissance tasks, search & rescue operations, and inspection works.

Through the application of hydrodynamic design, developed via intensive research with the University of Manchester, Northern Diver have maximised the efficiency and power of the DT4 Thrusters to reach their fullest potential. We are constantly re-working to ensure the kit will provide the best streamlined profile underwater, reducing drag and increasing the speed of our DT4 Dive Thrusters. The development of a sleek battery cover and ensuring the battery housing harness remains as low profile as possible further enhances performance. Additionally, there is a dual battery option, with compatible harness to further extend time and productivity.
The various user groups applications have been considered when designing and configuring the thrusters harness systems. The equipment has been refined for seamless integration with the user’s standard kit. The thrusters include two choices of harness and belt for wearing the kit, that is interchangeable.
• Tactical harness improves comfort, practicality, and usability, the controller can be configured to right or left.
• A tactical lightweight belt with removable shoulder straps to further improve integration with fully kitted operators.
The tactical harness is available in S/M and L/XL sizes and the tactical belt is available in one adjustable size to cater to a wide range of combat swimmers body types. In both configurations the battery pack is protected and securely housed against the swimmer’s lower back. Both systems feature quick release buckles which allow the battery pack to be changed under water. They also have a MOLLE System for storage.
In addition to the manual control provided, the DT4 Thrusters have the capability to be remotely operated with Northern Diver’s NIMROD underwater navigation system.
This enables the user to alter their speed without removing his hand from the navigation equipment giving complete control, whilst maintaining a smooth underwater profile. NIMROD console with DVL makes your mission fully covert.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE & SPARES
To ensure the long life of your DT4 dive thrusters we offer cleaning kits, maintenance kits and the option to purchase spare parts.
➤ The Cleaning Kit - protects, lubricates, and maintains the best signal quality of the thruster connector cable pins. Consistent maintenance of the cable pins helps reduce intermittent connections, arcing, RFI, wear and abrasion and provides long-lasting protection from oxidation on the plated surface. Each cleaning kit includes: micro- cleaning cloth, swap pack, cleaning solution and storage case.

All components that make up the Northern Diver DT4 Dive Thruster System can be bought as a separate part if required. Each component is easy to order through your Northern Diver sales representative and available for quick delivery in most cases. The DT4 Dive Thrusters are not available in the United States of America.

Collect In Store?
When you go to the online checkout, you can opt to collect your items in store. We'll let you know when your order is ready for you to collect. Your order will normally be ready to collect the next working day.
Returns, refunds or exchanges?
You can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in 'as new' condition.
Items will be refunded in full (less postage) if received within 28 days from the date of despatch.

We aim to deal with all returns and exchanges on the day they arrive, however please allow longer during peak periods.
You can return the item(s) by dropping them off in store or by returning the item(s) by post. We do not insist on a specific courier service for the return, so please use the most economical or appropriate method for returning the item(s).
