There are 3 x subsea machines, 12" 30" and 42", all operated with hydraulic power.
All the above machines are capable of cutting many types of main material, steel and grout / concrete or a combination of all in one cut i.e. steel pile with internal reinforced concrete.
They will also cut with these materials in any shape, as long as the machine can be attached to the target material. If it is an odd shape, the machines can have adapters made to suit to which they are bolted to each machine to assist the cutting machine support during the cutting process.
This machine can cut (50mm to 300mm) in size. The machine is a “Three Pulley” machine. All the drive wheels and support guide wheels are fitted with a special liner that is suitable for the support and drive of the diamond wire. It has a central pivot point and all the parts are engineered around that point. It has a main hydraulic high speed motor for the main drive pulley and a hydraulic clamp and gearbox motor. All the operational hoses are linked to a central manifold that in turn, is connected to the surface by supply umbilical hoses.
This machine can cut (300mm to 760mm) in size. This unit consists of an “A” frame design, twin leg configuration with a central core support to give the machine an incredibly robust engineered construction. It is of compact design and uses a cargo strap ratchet system that attaches the unit to the work target. There are four drive / support wheels. It has a main hydraulic high speed motor for the main drive pulley and a hydraulic motor for the gearbox. All the operational hoses are linked to a central manifold that in turn is connected to the surface by supply umbilical hoses. The travel of the cutting stroke is sufficient to cut a 30” diameter pipe.
This machine can cut (600mm to 1050mm) in size. This unit consists of an “A” frame design, twin leg configuration with a central core support to give the machine an incredibly robust engineered construction. The machine is of compact design and uses a built in hydraulic twin arm clamp system that attaches the unit to the work target. There are four drive / support wheels, a main hydraulic high speed motor for the main drive pulley and a hydraulic motor for the gearbox. All the operational hoses are linked to a central manifold that in turn is connected to the surface by supply umbilical hoses. The travel of the cutting stroke is sufficient to cut a 42” diameter pipe.
This machine can cut (500mm to 1220mm) in size. This size of machine has been built and tested -- but is NOT part of the sale—However, one can be built and priced accordingly, as all the design has been completed during the prototype stage.
All the machines use a wire tensioner system to maintain the diamond wire tension during the cutting process. This again is operated by hydraulics and is pre-set prior to any cutting process. It also acts as a compensator for the loading of the wire during the cutting process. The tensioner is constantly active during the cutting process and set prior to deployment. The tension is manually released once the work has been completed.
There is also a brand new Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) to drive all the units and is compatible for all three units. This is fitted with a Kawasaki pump unit, oil cooler, filtration, pressure regulator and pressure gauges. There is also a control console for all three units with main pressure and feed controls, flow meters, and fast and slow feed controls. All this comes in a brand new 10' container that houses the control console, work bench and stores / spares cage.
There is also an umbilical reel that carries 300 metres of 7 hose hydraulic umbilical, (1 x ¾” – 2 x ½” – and 4 x 3/8”). There is no umbilical that length to be supplied but can be negotiated. There is however, a 10 meter test umbilical. The reel is all hydraulically driven, safe guarded with screens.
A full spares package is also included for all the machines including main hydraulic motors, feed motors and gearboxes as well as bearings and machined spares.
All the design rights are included and a full set of CAD models, drawings and assembly drawings are available with the sale.
